Changes

I created this blog just over 6 years ago.  I am now 59; the same age my mom was when she died. Doesn't really bother me...it is just an awareness thing.  There have been so many changes in my life in the last 6 years I feel overwhelmed.  Photography course never really panned out as it was too technical and started to take the fun out of my photography.  Something I want to start again, not school, just the fun part of photography.
Serena is now 22, on  her own, Mateo has been in and out of jail, my sister died, my daughter hasn't spoke to me as of now officially today 4 months. More  later............

It has been a very long time.....

Well, it has been over a year since i have posted to my blog. I am now officially a student of The New York Insititue of Photography and at the end of the course i will be an official professional photographer. It is a correspondence course with awesome material to learn. Dyanne and i are going to start working on it next Monday. I a nervous and "tests" have always scared the heck out of me. I hope to do very well and am excited about the learning curve opportunity i have ahead of me. As time goes on with the course i hope to post more frequently my progress and add photo's as the course progresses.

So a year ago i stated i felt i had wings and was ready to fly well....the time has come to take the leap of faith and learn to fly!

Update

Today I went in to registered for my Digital Photography course and I am soooooo excited!! I start the 29th of March. It is coming fast and I am excited for this next stage in my life.

My Introduction

Hi my name is Candi and I am 53 year old/young wife/mother/grandmother/aunt & cousin. I am raising my 16 year-old special needs granddaughter who brings me much joy and many challenges. I have worked for the School District for approx. 13 years and needed to resign from my position to be home for my granddaughter. BUT also have been going through the process of what am I going to do for the rest of my life. My hobbies are geneology, photography and scrapbooking. Hey, did I say photography...That's it!! That is what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to become a photographer. I am going to start a photography course for digital photography which starts March 29th. As time goes on I will be posting my pictures and we will see how I progress. I am excited about this adventure and am looking forward to the many new and exciting things I will learn. I feel as tho I am learning to fly all over again!!!
